Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time?

Lead time varies by product category, selected options, and quantity. Most standard planters, screens, edging, and water features have up to a 2-3 week lead from order confirmation. All other products including custom orders usually have up to a 6-8 week lead time from order confirmation. Estimated lead time is given at time of quote. Actual lead time is determined once quote is accepted and desposit is received.

How are products shipped

Our products ship boxed, crated, or on pallets. Small orders less than a few pallets ship on common carriers (UPS, Fedex, etc.). For larger orders we ship LTL or truckload via dedicated trucks. We can arrange white glove service, liftgate, scheduled appointments, etc.

Where can I learn more about your products?

What finishes are available?

Paint and powdercoat standard finishes are available on aluminum. We do offer paint and powdercoating on steel as a custom option. Weathering and mild steel are available with a natural patina. For more information please visit the Color Options and Finishes page.

Please note: steel products do not ship prerusted unless arranged at the time of ordering. We remove the oil and grease from the mill on the surface before they ship as this will help accelerate the rust.

What material is available

Standard material thickness is .125" - .375". Standard material choices are:

A36 Mild Steel,

A606/588 Weathering Steel(also referred to as Corten Steel)

5052-H32 Aluminum

Our products are available for purchase by wholesale and retail customers.

What sizes are available?

Products are available in the standard sizes listed on their respective web pages, catalog, or technical information. We offer most products in custom sizes. Our general size maximum is L8' x W20' on single pieces. Modular sections can be built to create larger items.

Do you offer installation?

We are a product manufacturer and do not perform onsite installations. We know that every project is unique. We strive to make our products as simple as possible to install and adjust. Installation instructions are available for most proudcts. We are available during normal business hours at (360)548-3329 or info@architerradesigns.com to walk through installation questions or procedures.

If you are in need of a contractor and installer, we will do our best to recommend a qualified contractor.

We proudly design and build our own products in Arlington, WA. Our products are built and finished by highly skilled and passionate craftsmen in our facility.

Do you offer help with bioretention or Forma designs or technical guidance?

Yes, we will help make your project a success. We offer technical guidance and design assistance for sizing, product selection, etc. We are here to help. We also offer product engineering as requested from customers.
